The countdown has officially started, the Aseer Season is coming back this weekend.
The returning festival is set to begin on Friday July 5 and is a part of the recently announced Saudi Summer Programme led by the Saudi Tourism Authority.
Aseer Season 2023 saw some of the biggest names in the Arabic music industry light up the city with their tunes and performances. The second edition of the festival brought family-friendly activities and entertainment to the Saudi province.
Just like Aseer Season 2023, the third edition of the event promises to packed with fun activities, delicious food and of course bopping tunes.
Located about a two-hour flight away from Riyadh, the Season’s preparations are well underway.

Aseer Season 2024
The Aseer (often spelled as Asir) province is about to be lit up with exciting events and performances for a month and a half at least. This time, the Season will end in August.
The third edition of the Season is gearing up to take over the province and iconic locations will be putting on dazzling experiences for you to enjoy with your friends and family.

Aseer Season is set to open with a fun ceremony on Friday July 5 and will run until August.
Aseer Season events
Asir Summer will have a number of entertainment, cultural and sporting activities designed to showcase the region’s potential.
The city has also built a brand-new theatre with a capacity of over 16,000 seats. This performance hall will booming with the vocals of the most prominent male and female artists in the Arab world from Friday July 5 to August 16.
Just like Aseer Season 2023, this year the Season will feature several accompanying activities, such as circus performances, and comedy shows.
Aseer Season 2023
Aseer Season 2023 was a massive hit. Events included Arab superstar Majid Al Muhandes performing at Al Mahalla Walkway and Madhal, an area filled with shops, food stalls and musical performances.
In addition to the events and activities, another major draw of Aseer festival 2023 was the weather. The region in the southwest of the Kingdom has cooler temperatures and it is also home to popular attractions like the Rijal Almaa Museum, Soudah Mountain and Shamsan Historical Castle.

Saudi Seasons
The Saudi Seasons launched in 2019 by the Saudi Commission for Tourism and National Heritage. The seasons are a full calendar year of events featuring Riyadh Season, Diriyah Season, Jeddah Season, AlUla Season (Winter at Tantora), Taif Season and Ramadan Season.
Riyadh Season is being celebrated across the capital with knockout fights while Jeddah Season is bringing the excitement with its packed calendar of fun activities. Diriyah Season follows a month after in November, running into December. Winter at Tantora Typically ends the year.
