The Red Sea’s Desert Rock is taking shape. A new Desert Rock construction video highlights the incredible progress of the forthcoming Saudi resort.

The latest update from July 25 revealed that the Saudi property is more than 50 percent complete with key structures now in place, including completion of the tunneling

Red Sea Global previously shared an update on April 11 on social media of the hotel’s progress.

Nestled right in the nooks and crannies of a hidden valley, Desert Rock aims to let you connect with nature.

The resort’s architecture will be integrated into the rock slide as the Desert Rock construction video highlights.

There will be mountaintop villas and hotel rooms.

Upon completion, Desert Rock will be a 60-key hotel with 48 villas, 12 hotel rooms and a number of remote dining destinations.

Designed by Oppenheim Architecture, the Desert Rock will have rooms with floor-to-ceiling windows and offer unobstructed views of the surreal surroundings.

There will also be a fitness centre, spa and lagoon oasis.

Activities at Desert Rock will include stargazing, trekking through the mountains and dune bashing. Just admiring the scenery and architecture will definitely be on the agenda, too.

The Desert Rock property is part of Red Sea Global’s The Red Sea Project, a giga-project in line with Saudi Vision 2030. By 2030, the whole destination will be transformed and feature 50 resorts, luxury marinas, golf courses and an international airport.

The Red Sea will also be welcoming the wellness resort Miraval The Red Sea and an overwater Sheybarah Resort, too.

There are a range of exciting hotels opening across Saudi from the first NEOM OXAGON hotel to The Chedi Trojena.
