World’s first Formula E karting experience is coming to Saudi

Drive around four SEVEN theme parks

Did the Diriyah E-Prix inspire your desire to speed along the track? Things are kicking into high gear because the world’s first Formula E karting experience is coming to Saudi.

We’re not just getting one track, but four Saudi Formula E karting track karts where you can speed around like Jake Dennis.

The new Saudi amusement parks were announced during the Diriyah E-Prix in Riyadh. The first track is slated to open in 2025, according to the press conference. The Saudi Formula E karting experience from the ABB FIA Formula E World Championship will give you the chance to race Formula E-branded electric karts at speed.

Four Saudi Formula E karting attractions will be built: Riyadh, Jeddah, Dammam and Abha.

All ages will be able to enjoy the Saudi Formula E karting tracks. There will be junior and adult tracks as well as dual-driver karts.

Some tracks will be over 400 metres. Start those electric engines.

Saudi SEVEN projects

There are currently 14 projects coming to Saudi, including in Makkah, Taif, Dammam, Khobar and Tabuk. SEVEN is backed by the Public Investment Fund (PIF), and the company is buildin a whopping 21 entertainment destinations (and counting) including Yanbu Theme Park, a Madinah amusement park, Play-Doh theme parks and a Transformers theme park.

Diriyah E-Prix

The new Saudi Formula E karting arenas were announced during at Diriyah Season‘s Diriyah E-Prix. The Diriyah E-Prix sees the world’s fastest, lightest, most powerful and most efficient electric racecars zip along the track in Riyadh’s historic area. They are the only night races on the calendar and are followed by the popular after-race concerts.

Ready for more on-track fun? The Saudi Arabian Grand Prix in Jeddah is just around the corner.

Beyond the races, the Riyadh Season Cup returns to Riyadh for an epic Messi versus Ronaldo face-off. There’s also the Ring of Fire fight in February and Joshua vs. Ngannou brawl.
