This is the first Ritz-Carlton reserve in the Middle East and is one out of six resorts in the world of this kind, with other reserves being in Thailand, Japan, Indonesia, Puerto Rico and Mexico.

Inspired by the word Nujum, meaning “stars” in Arabic, Nujuma can be accessed by chartered boat or seaplane from the newly opened Red Sea International Airport. The resort is specifically on a set of private islands that are part of the Red Sea’s Blue Hole cluster of islands. There, you’ll be able to enjoy sandy dunes, crystal-clear waters and, most importantly, a dome-shaped luxury villa.

Located on Ummahat Island, the resort features 63 one-to-three bedroom water and beach villas, with shell-inspired structures complete with panoramic windows, an open living space, a sea-view pool and a telescope to discover Saudi’s star-filled sky.

A lavish spa, fitness centre, swimming pools, restaurants, retail shops and other entertainment facilities are also available.

Most exciting of all is that it’ll include its very own conservation house and a diving centre. You and your loved ones will be able to both explore Saudi culture and experience all the Red Sea adventures, which will include kayaking, sailing, windsurfing, snorkeling and diving excursions that explore the colorful coral reefs.

The venue will also have 18 Ritz-Carlton Reserve branded residences, for those of you who want more than just a short stay.
