Pakistan introduces visa-on-arrival travel for GCC residents and waives fees for nationals of 126 countries

Everything you need to know about the visa changes

One of the most popular destination countries for travellers flying out of Saudi has announced a raft of visa changes which will make visiting even easier than before.

Ahead of its Independence Day, Pakistan launched a new visa policy designed to bring more tourism and foreign investment to the country.

The immediate changes mean that the Pakistan visa process is now much simpler.

The government of the South Asian country revealed that nationals of 126 countries will no longer need to pay any fees when applying for a visa.

When applying online, travellers can get a hold of their visa within 10 minutes of submitting an online application with just 30 questions.

And for residents of the Gulf Cooperation Council countries – that’s the UAE, Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar and Saudi Arabia – it’s even better as we’ll now be able to get a visa-on-arrival for Pakistan.
