The mountains of NEOM, Trojena, is getting a new hotel.
Raffles Trojena has just been announced as the latest project for NEOM‘s mountains.
Raffles Hotels & Resorts, a leading luxury brand of Accor, made the announcement with NEOM on Monday February 19. This is the second Raffles hotel confirmed for Saudi, following Raffles Jeddah.
Raffles Trojena is slated to open in 2027. The hotel will showcase modern architectural techniques that will make full use of the mountain peak views.

Raffles Trojena
Set at a height of 2,300 metres in the mountains of Trojena, the Raffles Hotel will feature a ring shaped design, allowing all the rooms to have a scenic view of the destination’s surroundings from every vantage point.
The hotel will have 105 guestrooms arranged all around the ring shape, which in addition to the stunning views, will add privacy and unobstructed vistas.
The ground level of the hotel will feature many landscaped gardens for you to explore, while the roof will be meticulously designed to integrate ample natural lighting to the space.
The resort will also offer all the signature services of the Raffles name, including a butler service, many restaurants and more.
Raffles Trojena location
As the name suggests, the Raffles hotel will be in the year-round mountain destination of Trojena. More specifically, it’ll be situated in the NEOM destination’s Discover Cluster, which is one of six distinct clusters that make up the mountain destination.

The Discover Cluster, which aims to push everyone to further explore the natural wonders of the destination, also includes landmarks like:
- The Discover Tower: a high-rise tower with an open-air museum
- The Observatory: a peak panoramic viewpoint featuring Trojena’s views and landscapes
- The Cosmic Gate: a stargazing camp and astronomical park.

The resort is set to open in 2027. Specific dates have yet to be announced so stay tuned.
More Trojena developments
Trojena is one of NEOM’s major giga-projects. Set to be the first of its kind in the GCC region, Trojena will be an outdoor ski resort that is poised to be a new global destination for mountain tourism.
The destination will be a year-round tourist spot, offering many experiences other than the Raffles Trojena hotel, including other resorts like Chedi and Anantara. The destination will also feature many attractions and a man-made lake.
The development is part of the larger $500 billion NEOM project.
