Ramadan Season is back for round two – are you ready?
What’s more, the Season’s festivities in Dammam already have a starting date: Monday March 11.
Officially announced in 2023, the popular season celebrates Ramadan in true fashion, hitting all the right notes of heritage, traditional eats, crafts and more.
The festival is set to take place across three prominent cities in Saudi including Jeddah and Dammam and promises to bring heaps of cultural, social and sporting events for everyone to enjoy – and decorations with a touch of Ramadan flair, too.

Ramadan Season 2024 details
Marking its second edition, Ramadan Season 2024 is running under the tagline “The Light of Our Nights”. The new theme pays tribute to the light (both spiritual and literal) brought on by the month, in addition to the flickering of lanterns and fairy lights that bring the streets to life.
Social, cultural and sporting events will take to the streets for all ages to enjoy, all while reviving the historical and cultural heritage related to Ramadan.
Ramadan Season activities
Get ready because this year will be packed with a lot of fun. Ramadan Season 2024 activities will include:
- A traditional Ramadan table, which will include all types of food for you to try
- A souk
- A light show
- An art district
- A children’s playground
- Sports challenges
- A live cooking station

Ramadan Season locations
Ramadan Season will be taking over the streets of three different cities across Saudi including Riyadh, Jeddah and Dammam.
As part of the celebrations, the cities will be filled with twinkling lights, the chatter of families and the calls of street merchants.
In Riyadh, you can catch Ramadan Season at the ancient Thumairi Street, found in Ad Dirah, while the festivities will take place in Al Balad in Jeddah and the Dammam waterfront.
Ramadan Season dates
Ramadan Season will run throughout the month of Ramadan. Ramadan predicted dates are Monday March 11 until Tuesday April 9.
Official timings have yet to be announced, so keep checking back for recent updates.
Ramadan Season Dammam
It’s time to celebrate the month in Dammam.
Ramadan Season Dammam returns. The family-friendly event will have three subzones including a kids area, an art square and a section dedicated to iftar and suhoor. Both the kids area and the art square do not require pre-booking either.
- Al Thuraya Dining: Prepare to tuck into a different menu every week in the AL Thuraya Dining section. Each dish will be meticulously designed and plated by professional chefs and the flavours are promising to be Saudi leaning. With communal tables the dining area will be open for both iftar and suhoor. The subsection will open 60 minutes before the evening prayer and run until 8pm for iftar. The suhoor service, on the other hand, will run from 11.59pm to 2.30am. Al Thuraya Dining tickets have gone live on webook.com starting from SAR50 for kids and SAR150 for adults.

Al Gharabi, Ash Shati, webook.com. - Kids Square: The interactive kids section has been designed to offer a range of funtivities to children aged three to 12 years. The area aims to offer an authentic cultural experience ingrained in social heritage. It will have four subsections including a Kindergarten with workshops and books for kiddos aged three to five years and Early and Advanced Childhood Area for six to 12 year olds and feature educational workshops. There will also be a common plaza with a drawing wall, a children’s library and storytelling along with a puppet-galore children’s theatre. Kids Square tickets can be bought at the door.
From Mon Mar 11. 5pm-2am. Al Gharabi, Ash Shati. - Manara Art: The area will play host to interactive artistic workshops which will blend arts and crafts to reflect aspects of Saudi culture. Manara Art tickets can be bought at the door as well.
