ROKA is bringing a brand-new concept to Jeddah.
If you’re after a mid-week event to hang out and dine with friends, ROKA Izakaya Nights are here. It’s your chance to sample new and exclusive menu items from the Jeddah Walk restaurant.
The Time Out Riyadh Restaurant Awards 2022 winner for Restaurant of the Year introduced the new concept on November 13 to the Red Sea city. ROKA Izakaya Nights are happening every Monday to Wednesday from 6pm until late.

The new event draws inspiration from a traditional Japanese dining experience. Izakaya is part of the Japanese culture. It’s an informal gathering with family and friends to get together and wind down after the day over eats. Sharing plates large and small is very much a part of the experience. It sounds like just the sort of thing everyone needs mid-week, and we now get to experience the izakaya-style night.
The ROKA Jeddah Izakaya menu features nine dishes and three drinks. Prices range from SAR35 for mocktails and light bites to SAR60. Try exclusives dishes like Panko-Fried Prawns with Tentsuyu Sauce (SAR55), Chicken Udon Noodles With Kewpie Mayonnaise and Bonito Flakes (SAR60) and Deep-Fried Cauliflower with Sweet and Spicy Korean Sauce (SAR40).
You can still enjoy ROKA’s à la carte as part of the Izakaya Nights.

ROKA Jeddah opened in June 2023. It is the second Saudi location, following the Riyadh outpost which opened in 2021 in the stylish As Sulimaniyah neighbourhood.
