Listen up because there’s a new Saudi visitor e-visa expansion. Eight new countries now qualify for the visa.
The eight countries are Albania, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Kyrgyzstan, the Maldives, South Africa, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan.
This means that nationals of the above countries are now able to apply for a Saudi e-visa electronically or upon arrival at one of the Kingdom’s ports.
The visa is valid for tourism, business, visiting relatives and friends, and for performing Umrah.
The new Saudi visitor e-visa expansion update was announced on Sunday August 6 by the Ministry of Tourism.
The Saudi visitor e-visa does not permit travellers to work for a wage or perform Umrah during Hajj. Additionally, the renewal of the visa is only possible after its expiration.
The visitor e-visa is valid for an entire year, and it grants people multiple entries with a maximum stay of up to 90 days.
To avoid penalties, visitors must depart from Saudi during the specified duration of stay.
