Looking to relax? Wellness resort Six Senses AlUla has just been announced.
The new Saudi hotel will open in 2027 in the historic region. Six Senses AlUla will have 100 guest villas and 25 residences that will all blend seamlessly with the surreal surroundings of the area. The property will be spread out over 1.2 million square metres.
Your dining experience will be taken up a historic notch as you’ll be able to feast among the natural geological rock formations and caves in the area. Check out the rock drawings dating back to thousands of years as you dig local inspired dishes crafted from seasonal produce.
Recharge with a local-inspired treatment at the Six Senses Spa. Sunrise yoga, meditation classes, moon bathing and singing bowl ceremonies will all be available.
Six Senses hotels in Saudi
Six Senses is all about sustainability and respecting the area where the properties are built while offered guests unique experiences to help them unwind and relax.
Six Senses AlUla is the third confirmed Saudi hotel. The Red Sea Southern Dunes property in the Hijaz Mountains opened for bookings in September 2023. It has villas starting from SAR5,734.
Fancy a unique Red Sea vacation? AMAALA Six Senses is part of Triple Bay, and it will have 64 rooms and a huge spa. The hotel is anticipated to open next year.
New AlUla hotels
In addition to the Six Senses, there are a few hotels coming to AlUla, including Saudi’s first Autograph Collections Hotel.
The AZULIK AlUla Resort is another property coming to Wadi AlFann. It will have over 70 villas, a spa, VIP club and all-day dining options. The hotel is slated to open in 2027.
Another exciting upcoming development is The Chedi. The unique property will open within UNESCO World Heritage Site Hegra and it will have has 35 rooms. The dining options promise to be equally unique as one eatery will be located inside an old railway station.
AlUla hotels
Looking to stay somewhere to stay in AlUla now? Habitas AlUla has 96 villas nestled in the Ashjar Valley. There is also its sister property Caravan by Habitas.
Banyan Tree is also a plush AlUla hotel in Ashjar Valley. The property draws inspiration from the nomadic nature of its surroundings, incorporating local Nabataean architecture. The all-villa tented resort has a spa and popular restaurants including its signature Thai restaurant Saffron.
