Instant video messaging is now a thing

WhatsApp, the world’s most popular messaging app, has introduced its latest feature – “Instant Video Messaging.”

The new video voice notes feature allows WhatsApp users to record and send video messages, merging both voice messages and videos into a single communication tool.

Now you can record and share short personal videos directly in the chat.

It’s pretty easy to use. All you have to do is tap the microphone button on the bottom right of the screen and it switches to the camera icon.

Hold that down and you can easily record a video message and release the button to send it instantly.

You can also swipe up to lock and record the video hands-free. Videos will play automatically on mute when opened in a chat, and tapping on the video will start the sound.

The video voice notes feature comes with various features to enhance communication. Users can send videos of up to 60 seconds.
