It’s stormed the high streets of Ireland and the UK, and now Primark could be coming to a mall near you.
The legendary budget store has now partnered with the Alshaya Group, a huge retail franchise operator, who could bring the brand to the GCC.
Thanks to the demands of shoppers desperate to see some Primark gear on the shelves, the group confirmed they are exploring opportunities to open stores in the region.
If you’re already planning out your next haul then you might want to slow down just a little, as right now both parties are only exploring ‘potential opportunities’.
But this is definitely a step in the right direction. Speaking about the exciting announcement, John Hadden, CEO, Alshaya Group said:
“We are incredibly proud to partner with Primark to discuss potential opportunities to bring their stores to the region.

What is Primark?

Founded in Dublin, Ireland, as Penny’s, Primark was first launched 55 years ago and has now expanded into 450 stores.
Now in 15 countries across Europe and also boasting 16 stores in the US, the brand sells everything from socks to home furnishings, cosmetics, womenswear, menswear and childrenswear.
Known for being a budget option, shoppers have long-adored finding new styles for a cheaper price.
