These are the Saudi cities hosting the FIFA World Cup 2034

This is something you need to know about

After Saudi officially submitted its FIFA World Cup 2034 bid to Paris, shortly after news of the outstanding Saudi FIFA World Stadiums to-come dropped one by one – and so did the Saudi FIFA World Cup cities.

And it just so happens that the exciting footie tournament is heading to five cities across Saudi – and our bustling Saudi capital is one of them.

The 15 massive stadiums in the works for the football competition are heading to the Kingdom’s top cities including Riyadh, Jeddah, NEOM, Al Khobar and Abha.

Here’s the breakdown on how many stadiums will be found in each city, in addition to the overall seating capacity and size (and trust us, it’s something to marvel at).

Saudi FIFA World Cup cities

The Saudi FIFA World Cup 2034 is taking place across five cities in the Kingdom, with a total of 15 stadiums in the mix:

Abha

  • King Khalid University Stadium
    Opening date: 2030
    Seating capacity: 45,000

Al Khobar

  • Aramco Stadium
    Opening date: 2026
    Seating capacity: Over 47,000

Jeddah

  • Al Jawhara Stadium
    Opening date: 2032
    Seating capacity: Over 58,000
