Check out 200 video games at the new Gamekom event

The new activity is celebrating 50 years of gaming consoles

Controllers in hand: it’s time to click your way through Gamekom Jeddah 2023.

The gaming event is running now until Saturday October 28, and it celebrates 50 years of video game consoles.

There are over 200 games at the event from retro arcade games to the latest VR picks, plus, iconic consoles to add to your collection (level up).

Gamekom Jeddah is happening close to the Jeddah Promenade on King Abdulaziz Branch Road from Saturday to Wednesday from 4pm to midnight and Thursday to Friday from 4pm to 1am.

Visitors will be able to enjoy blasts from the pasts through pinnacles in the gaming industry that have left a long-lasting imprint on gamers (both young and old).

Tickets are available on ticketingboxoffice.com from SAR80.50 for full-day entry plus two hours of play-time in the Nostalgia zone and from SAR180.09 for VIP passes.

If you’re looking for an event to dress the part for, you’ll be happy to know that Comic Con is coming to Jeddah in November 2023 bringing with it anime, manga and of course, video games.

Feel like seeing some furry little friends (don’t get too close)? Jeddah’s indoor zoo is now open with entrance starting from SAR25.
