The Balad Beast 2025 line-up has yet to drop, but we’re promised over 70 artists performing across four stages in Al Balad.
Balad Beast dates and location
The MDLBEAST event is back in Jeddah and taking over the historical neighbourhood of Al Balad from Thursday January 30 until Friday January 31, 2025.
Balad Beast tickets
Of course, the question everyone wants to know is: How do I get Balad Beast tickets? Tickets are yet to drop, but they will be available via mdlbeast.com.
Last year, Balad Beast tickets were available in general admission and VIB (that’s Very Important Beast) categories. You could purchase single day or two-day tickets.

MDLBEAST Balad Beast 2024
This marks the third year of MDLBEAST Balad Beast. The Jeddah music festival debuted in December 2022 with 70 acts across five stages in Al Balad with performances by Busta Rhymes, Rick Ross, Carl Cox and Lupe Fiasco.
Balad Beast 2024 featured over 70 acts across four stages in Al Balad. (Noticing a theme?) The stages took over courtyards in the Saudi UNESCO World Heritage Site for unique immersive experiences.
The festival turned things up with a packed line-up featuring Wu-Tang Clan, Major Lazer Soundsystem and Claptone. Furthermore, DJ Snake and Bebe Rexha performed at the roaring two-day event.
Regional stars Baloo, Cairokee, Cosmicat, Dafencii, Dish Dash, Guti, Marc Brauner, Nooriyah and Vizar Ensemble also got the crowds grooving.
Balad Beast 2024 stages
With over 70 acts, Balad Beast 2024 had multiple stages across historic Jeddah. There were two live stages, plus dedicated hip-hop and underground stages. Stages included Omda Square and Bab Square.
Balad Beast Souq
The music festival couldn’t be in the historic area and not have its own souk. Between performances, you could check out merch and refuel at the food and beverage outlets.
The Jeddah music festival also had art displays dotted throughout the area.
Balad Social
Balad Beast and Balad Social are two different events. Weekly Balad Social parties also happen in the popular area of Jeddah. The regular gigs take place on the rooftop of Bait Zainal in the cooler months and in the Red Sea Palace Hotel in the hotter months. You get to see a rotating line-up of DJs spinning into the night.
MDLBEAST Soundstorm
MDLBEAST Soundstorm is considered Riyadh’s loudest weekend. The fourth edition of the festival took place from Thursday December 14 to Saturday December 16, 2023 in Banban with performances from Chris Brown, Metallica, 50 Cent, Will Smith and DJ Jazzy Jeff, and many acts across eight stages.
MDLBEAST Soundstorm 2024 will happen from Thursday December 12 to Saturday December 14. Eminem, Akon, Afrojack, Tyler, the Creator, Black Coffee, The Roots, David Guetta, Jason Derulo, G-Eazy will perform.
